2018 ended with a with a very special gift for everyone at Europair: We have been awarded BEST DIGITAL AMBASSADOR by Essentially Mallorca.
During a prestigious Gala Dinner on December 13th at the Restaurant Sa Simentera de Canet in Majorca, the winners of the Essentially Mallorca Awards were announced, selected among over 20 candidates. Europair was recognised in the category “Best Digital Ambassador” for the mobile app Europair Jets.
The awards have been created by the Spanish luxury tourism association Essentially Mallorca to recognise excellence in initiatives carried out by its associates to further enhance the luxury travel sector in Majorca. Europair joined this project in 2016 to take part in the mission to promote Majorca as a luxury destination on the international market.
For nearly a month all associates were preparing and putting their candidacy forward in one of the four available categories, i.e.: best digital ambassador, best luxury commitment, best reflection of the essence of Mallorca and best innovative experience. The jury was composed of the president of the association, Cristina García of Port Adriano; the secretary of the executive committee, Nicolás Ostrovsky of Hilton Sa Torre; a member of the assembly, Kristoff Both of Golf Alcanada; Prof. María Eugenia Girón, entrepreneur, counsellor and president of the luxury observatory of the IE Business School; and the island’s leading communicator related to this sector, Esteban Mercer. They had no easy task judging the over 20 nominations!
For everyone here at Europair, it is an honour and a source of pride to receive this recognition from a panel of such reputable experts in the tourism and luxury industry. It is a proof of the commitment to technological innovation that led us to create the app Europair Jets, the first Spanish application that enables passengers to search, compare and reserve a private jet with total autonomy and discretion from an iPhone or IPad.
We know that technological development is unstoppable and we cannot stay behind if we want to keep our leadership position. For this reason, we will continue working on solutions that improve the passengers’ experience and help us streamline our workflows to offer top-notch services. Technology allows us to be closer to our customers at all times, but this does not mean giving up on the personal human touches that everyone at Europair relies upon to provide a completely tailor-made service.
